It is also crucial that the production value be of high quality and utmost professionalism.

Will the voices fit the project that you want fulfilled? Some things to mull over are male and female voices, children’s voices, and possible dialects. February 8th, 2010 What Are the Registry Disadvantages Using a Registry Cleaner?

What are the MS registry disadvantages using a registry cleaner?

The biggest disadvantage of Registry Cleaners is their weak distinction feature. Some Registry Cleaners fail to rate severity of errors and those succeeded erroneously categorized errors as critical without giving proper reason of categorization.

What are the limitations of Installing Registry Cleaners:

Critics often claim that there is no authentic way of knowing whether a third party application has an invalid key, redundant information or not.

Weakly developed registry cleaners may certainly not identify whether a particular key is still in use by Windows or what dire consequences it may have on being removed.

Make sure you have an effetive and proven Registry Cleaner to make sure you get a fast XP

Because of this loophole in Registry Cleaners, they often led to the situation like loss of functionality, system inability and Microsofts application compatibility updates to block malicious Registry Cleaners.

Registry Cleaners fail to redeem scenarios like undeletable registry keys that occurred due to insertion of null characters in their names. However, there are few specialized tools available in the market, like RegDelNull utility and Sysinternals (now Microsoft), which could redeem such kinds of scenarios.

Potential to Recover:

Registry Cleaner fails to repair those Registry hives that couldnt be mounted by the system.

However, there are several ways supported by Microsoft to repair a corrupt Registry. For example Automated System Recovery feature of Windows XP wherein last Known Good boot menu is achieved by using System Restore or by running setup.

Removal of Malware:

Despite all these problems, a corrupt registry can be recovered in several ways supported by Microsoft. For instance Automated System Recovery by using System Restore or by running setup from the Last Known Good boot menu.

Registry Cleaners could not remove Registry entries associated with a rootkit because this rootkit hide the information from other processes.

It is a must for a specialized tool to compare results from raw core registry storage with that given by Registry API.

Do Registry Cleaners work in application virtualization scenario?

Registry Cleaners prove inefficient in case of virtualized application because all the Registry entries are written for virtual Registry. This virtual Registry is specifically designed for a virtual application instead of real one.

MS Exchange Server - Filtering Spam Effectively

By: John J. Oimann

The increase in the number of spam e-mails raise the need to monitor and eliminate unwanted messages - ensuring that the Microsoft Exchange system function properly

In todays business world, unwanted mail has emerged as the biggest evil that is cutting productivity and adding troubles. Thousands of deceptive and indecent e-mails are sent to companies in bulk on a daily basis. The term Spam is a commonly used jargon to explain promotional and undesirable e-mails. Spam is not an abbreviation or acronym (so spam does not denote something). Normally a spam mail contains commercial content and it is send to receivers who never reqeusted to get that kind of information from the business or individual that sends it.

Getting huge volume of unwanted commercial e-mails can significantly cost the individuals and businesses a lot of time and resources as they have to sort out the legitimate mails, removing the unsolicited messages and this process, at times, become very exhaustive and frustrating, thus hindering efficiency.

Getting rid of spam is a lengthy process, it hurts e-mail server performance and malevolent e-mails are a threat to network security In addition, businesses also face greater risk because spam e-mails can lead to harm to the systems that are difficult to repair, causing disorder, loss of work and money.

The only measure against the spam threat ensuring total security and protection is professional assistance. Shielding your mail server correctly will guarantee that all passing messages and attached files are filtered against junk messages. A spam filter for e-mail servers is typically an intelligent application that filters all new messages, finds spam on the basis of a chosen configuration and blocks all unwanted e-mails preventing them from passing all the way to the users inbox. And one of the widely used servers is that developed by Microsoft. Dubbed as Exchange Server, this Microsoft product makes e-mailing more speedy and resourceful.

Spam devices can be of great help to carry out filtering at an exchange server or junk mail blocking at exchange server. A server side spam filter enables users to automate the procedure to sort and remove spam at the server level i.e. before it reaches the internal network and each user’s personal computer. Making this process automatic is recommended as it protects each personal computer, it protects the internal network and prevents information loss and users’ downtime.

No anti-spam technology is perfect, periodically manual checking of all filtered messages by a network administrator is still needed to ensure that Exchange mail server is not blocking any legitimate e-mails.

April 3rd, 2008 Living on a Cruise Ship Full Time

Have you ever dreamt about living on a Cruise Ship forever?

Traveling the world, seeing all kinds of exotic places, cruising forever with not a care in the world.

It is now a reality, and several possibilities exist.

1. The World of ResidenSea was launched in 2002 as a condominium-style residential community contained on a 644-foot cruise ship, complete with restaurants, a spa and fitness center and other amenities similar to what you’d find on a typical mid-size cruise liner.

As with land-based condo resorts, short-term rentals of a week or more may be arranged without committing to ownership, and a wide range of ports is included on The World’s ongoing circumnavigation of the globe.
Residensea has problems.

-disputes between owners of Condos on the ship and tourists.
Owners want to stay in exciting ports for several days, tourists that the ship needs to get full occupancy to cover the cost of unsold suites want to move from port to port every day.

Sales of actual condos on the ship have stalled due to fears of terrorism, uncertainty in financial markets and uncertainty about the future of the ship.

Annual maintenance costs run at $100,000 per suite while an actual suite now costs 1.9 to 4 million dollars.
This ad recently appeared on the Internet:

“Rent an outside luxury cabin
from $600 a day”
From somebody who owns 2 cabins on the ResidenSea.
That runs to $18,000 per month.

2. Join an organization that will buy a used Cruise Ship and convert it to Condos.

This concept has been tried and failed.

The practical problems were just too great.

-Trying to get enough people interested
-Trying to get commitments from people
-Trying to find a ship that was not going to fall apart immediately upon leaving the harbor
-Trying to get cash from people before a ship was bought.
And these were just problems BEFORE a ship was even bought.

Think about the problems there would be after the ship was bought.

3. Buy regular cruises on an on-going basis.

This seems the only practical way in which you can live permanently on a Cruise Ship.

Here are the estimated costs based on double occupancy starting on the cheap:

Basic Cruise Costs; $100 per day x 2 people = $6000 per month
This includes gratuities, all you can eat and port costs.

Independent costs of living for Seniors seems to be about $2000 per month per person = $4000
This includes food.

So for $2000 per month extra a couple can live on a Cruise Ship (or ships) forever.

The advantages of this type of living if you have that extra $24,000 per year to spend are these:

-Quality of the meals on a Cruise Ship is probably a lot better than what you would get in an independent living type of situation.

-You can vary cruise lines, use a Caribbean Cruise Line this month, an Alaska Line next month
and a European Line for the next 6 months.

-Shows every night.

-Built-in new friends every week or so. Most cruises end within 7 days and a new crop of potential friends arrives for you to interact with.

-An entire Cruise Staff to help you with ANYTHING if you have a problem.

So, if you want to live on a Cruise Ship: $24,000 a year is all it takes for 2 people.
