Audiences will delight in hearing well-known tracks from the film, in addition to quite a few brand new songs written specifically for the musical version. All things considered, the Lion King Musical delivers fantastic amusement for all age ranges. In the early 1990s, it seemed like the industry of theatre was crashing and burning. With the costs of putting on a musical theatre show skyrocketing, few people were prepared to fork out for high in price theatre tickets when they could just as easily visit the movie theatre for a small percentage of the price. Luckily, Disney rescued the troubled Broadway market, first with a stage show edition of Beauty in the Beast, and next a production of the Lion King. Today, this flamboyant modern musical can be seen at a number of venues, including the Lyceum Theatre, based in London’s West End. Here are five reasons why you must go to this amazing show. 1. Alluring to All Age ranges Obviously, the Lion King is a success with kids. But the rhythmic music and sophisticated storyline makes it an enjoyable performance for parents at the same time. Young adults will love reminiscing of the first time they saw the film as small children. 2. Award Winner The Lion King has been given a number of recognized awards, including eleven Drama Desk awards and six Tony awards. It was also nominated for another five Tony awards. Any production that is the recipient of this amount of awards is plainly worth visiting. 3. New Songs Everyone adores the songs from the movie rendition of the Lion King. But there are also a number of new songs that were created for the musical edition. These new songs include ‘Endless Night,’ ‘Shadowland,’ and ‘One By One.’ 4. Gorgeous Costumes One might wonder how a musical stageshow of the Lion King is able to depict creatures like giraffes and zebras while using humans as actors. This feat was achieved together with the help of several excellent costume designers. It is exciting to see the costumes, which are simultaneously complicated and straightforward. The wonderful thing about these costumes is that they are able to to convey human characteristics while holding onto essential animalistic elements. This anthropomorphic balance between animal and human helps keep the story believable. 5. Unique Scenery There a count of complicated scenes in the Lion King that might not work without the use of sophisticated scenery and props. One such scene is the stampede, during which wildebeast props on rollers create a highly effective feeling of danger along with the animals racing towards you giving the illusion of depth.
