| April 30th, 2008 | It’s About Takeover Not Immigration |
As the protests continue over the immigration situation, it appears very clear that those in the streets want no border security. Basically, anyone who wants to come to America should come. That appears to be the logic. Of course, that would be the end of America if such an insane policy were to take place. The waving of Mexican flags is the true nature of those protesting. A sort of “we want it back” mentality has taken root thanks to years of propaganda from politicians, academia and television. Thus, the concept of coming to America in an orderly fashion is no longer an idea tolerated. Those who want to “bum rush” this nation are given the green-light to do so. The huge amount of illegals at the protests from city to city showed an arrogance and a refusal to deal with the law. Then again, years of back-turning has led to this. Those running corporations really have no use for America any longer. They want a slave society. The few get even more wealthy while the masses of people lose on wages, benefits and quality of life. “New world order” now means something to people. It simply means crushing the American dream of a good living. It means importing a never-ending stream of low-educated people to take jobs from Americans. It means to deport our manufacturing base. It means to increasingly takeover even good-paying jobs. When it is “never enough” for the wealthy, only bad things can come out of it. America has become the attractive prostitute; just keep on using her in a disgusting manner. If there is resistance, just go out into the streets and scream and shout no matter if you should be here or not. Use her public services and pay little to no taxes. Give birth to children in America and that child is now a citizen no matter how the parents arrived. Meanwhile, of course, places like Mexico have very tough immigration laws as do many nations in this world. It does not matter if the hypocrisy of it all stinks to the mountains. America has shown to be a “paper tiger” in such cases. Wars half-a-world-away? Then America has a roar. Special interests smell “blood-in-the-water.” Left-wing activists see huge power in the future with poor masses of people spilling over. Businesses see a slave society where they get richer. The dwindling “middle class” slowly sees themself as someone awaiting execution. Immigrants are people who apply to come to a nation and are selected by the government. What we have now are takeover migrants. They want what they want and want it now. But when a host country has been so weak-willed and so deceitful, what can one expect? | April 29th, 2008 | How To Find And Use File-Hosting |
What’s the difference? While surfing the net in order to find free space for home video or favorite songs, users often confuse two things - web hosting and file hosting. So, what’s the difference? First of all, web hosting allows you to place your site on the web. And file hosting gives you free space, where you may store whatever you want - from files to songs. So, now you can save your time looking for file hosting instead of web hosting. Keywords First of all you must define why you need file hosting? Basically, there are 4 common types of files - video, images, music and data. If you are looking for any special file hosting server, you should use the keywords “file upload” and add the type of file. For example “file video upload”. Another good way is to type in SE “file hosting”. The best SE in my humble opinion are Google and Yahoo! So, start your search and I’ll tell you how to deal with file-hosting services. How to use it? Usually, file hosting services offer you to choose a file from your hard drive. As I’ve already said, you may choose mp3, video or any data you want. But keep in mind that the file must conform to upload restrictions. The upload limit may vary from 10 to 250 Mb. Everyone may take advantages of our free service at http://www.oxyshare.com, that includes unlimited disk space, an endless amount of file downloads and e-mail file delivery. Free registration also gives access to upload files using your favorite FTP client and opportunity to edit or delete files. Using our partnership program registered users may earn money for their files downloads. Uploaded files are accessible for 30 days if there was no request to download. Go to http://www.oxyshare.com. | April 29th, 2008 | Can You Control Who The Alpha Dog Is When You Own Two Dogs |
A dog owner named Beth writes: Dear Mr. Katz, I have two cocker spaniels that are one year apart. The red and white female (Cassie)is almost two and spayed. The buff male (Peanut) is just one 1 years old and neutered. Peanut was rescued from a cocker shelter in October of 1999. He is incredibly devoted, a very good listener and quick learner. He is the ideal dog as he is very eager to please. Cassie on the other hand is the most independent and stubborn dog I have ever encountered (you’ve probably seen worse). She used to only listen to commands when she wanted but I have put a stop to that. I have had numerous problems with her dominant tendencies but have come a long way. She now views me as the alpha and only displays aggression when she is in pain - specifically when I brush her. She has been diagnosed with allergies, is on allergy shots and has bad skin. This is not my problem though as I think I can work through this one with the use of the training collar. ADAM INTERJECTS: It’s very difficult to correct pain-response aggression. It’s more of a reaction than anything else. Use the muzzle and restrain the dog when you need to give her shots. Other times (just so that she doesn’t build a negative association to the muzzle) put it on, take it off, and then give her a cookie. Do this at random times. BETH CONTINUES: Cassie displays a lot of dominance aggression toward Peanut. She growls when he tries to pick up a bone near her and when they play (or fight) she will “hump” him. I always feed her first, give her treats first, pet her first but Peanut just doesn’t seem to get it. He will walk through the door before Cassie but after me. He is always one head length ahead of her when we walk outside. Further, I think he is trying to challenge her because the playing time more recently has turned into fighting. It’s more barking than anything — to date there has been no blood. However, Cassie usually is on top of him, pinning him to the ground, and he lets out this barking/yelping noise when she releases, he goes right after her again until I break it up. She also displays the same aggression toward the cat. If the cat comes into her “area” when she is comfortable in front of the fire or if the cat even walks by one of her bones she goes crazy. She’ll chase the cat away with growling and quickly running after her. ADAM INTERJECTS AGAIN: You can correct this behavior. She will learn not to chase the cat in the house. BETH CONTINUES: So here’s the big question. What do I do? Do I continue to treat Cassie as the next in the pack? Do I let them fight it out? Do I continue to scold her for chasing the cat? HELP! Any advice you can offer will be much appreciated. Your book is great by the way…. Regards, Dear Beth: Thanks for the question. There is ONE big point you’re not conceptualizing: You can only affect your relationship with each dog. You can be dominant to both dogs. Or you can be dominant to only one dog. Or you can be viewed as the Omega dog (the most submissive one) by both dogs. However, you cannot control how your dogs view each other. This is a topic I’ve written about in past issues of my e-zine. I’m going to reprint it for your benefit: A subscriber wrote: “Thanks, Adam. I think I found the answer. ‘We determine who will be the alpha dog.’ Correct? “ My reply: “No, no no! You cannot do this! It’s impossible!!! The dogs’ temperaments are inherent. Only you can determine if you’re dominant to the other dogs, by being MORE DOMINANT. But you cannot work it out for them. You can control the dogs’ behaviors and not allow any scuffles if you: - are the alpha dog in the pack. and - you have voice control. But as soon as you leave the dogs together– unsupervised– and go out for dinner… all bets are off. The dominant one will still be the dominant one. Think of taking a group of four kids. Kid#1 will grow up to be a Navy Seal, and then an Admiral. Now, when you leave the house every day for work, you may say, “Kid#4… you’re in charge.” And as long as you’re around, Kid#4 may get the privileges of being the “so-called” top dog. But as soon as you leave… It’s going to be a given that kid#3 and kid#4 are going to be the bottom dogs, and kid #1 and kid#2 will scrap-it-out to see who is REALLY the “top dog.” Their genetics (and to some extent, upbringing– depending upon their age) determines this. But it is the toughest kid who will become the group leader. Even though kid #2 may be fairly tough in his own right, he will test kid#1… but will ultimately lose… as kid#1 is too tough. Now, if kid#1 gets sick and has to stay in bed, then kid#2 becomes the new kid#1. In other words, the “Alpha dog.” Until you get home. Then you’re the alpha dog, and he becomes the beta dog. Get it? Beth, as far as you’ve described your dogs’ interactions… it doesn’t sound to me like you’ve got a problem. It sounds just like play, or perhaps some dominance scuffles. However, without seeing the dogs in person it’s impossible to tell for sure. That’s all for now, folks!

| April 27th, 2008 | Same old, and brand new, DVD talk! |
The war is everywhere. Not the Iraq war, but the heated battle between the HD-DVD and the Blu-Ray formats. The rising interest in that war, though needed to steer the industry in the right direction in the near future, is causing the market to miss out on present opportunities, of less than ideally explored features of DVD products. Without the war, the industry already boasts a vast pool of products to offer consumers. Thus, ink and space in this review will focus on those under-used functions of the DVD, especially the creative concept of DVD editing and morphing. The search phrase of “DVD morpher” on Yahoo! returns 201 000 results, with the top 3 all on Avnex’s product of DVD Player - Morpher. DVD morphing is not too new. However, probably not many of us know how to “morph” DVD, though few are unaware of DVD music and pictures. DVD morphing is a concept of creative self-exploration in the high-end world of the visibles and the audibles: users can not only enjoy unmatched picture and sound quality, but also enhance the displayed image as well as modify what they hear with special effects, all to their best imagination. The “morph” tools duly refresh the developed concept of a personal entertainment experience. And with products such as the AV DVD Player-Morpher Gold’s 44 video and audio effects in various combinations, your experience could truly be personal. Currently, there should be 8 major players in this market, with various levels of products going for as low as $30. The more expensive packages are perhaps the most value-for-money, offering complete tools to define your DVD experience the way you wish to: the above-mentioned 44 cool effects and so much more of the AV Morpher could be yours for $99.95. Such low prices could lead to a boom in the number of “morphers”, when users become more demanding of their players for features such as capturing crystal-clear digital images, converting those pictures into video format and recording and burning their own versions of movies. Little does an average movie lover know that he can now easily possess such powerful tools to personalize his favourite hits, as the 8 producers are continuously expanding their sales and distribution networks, expecting sales figures to sky-rocket as much as the DVD boom of the past 7 years. Packages are getting more and more complete; users could produce a fully personalized movie disc, from picture enhancement to audio modifications and even to label printing. Yes, these convenient DVD players are increasingly allowing you such level of personalization; you could get rid of the usually bare disc cover and have your family’s pictures in the pack of Home Alone II. At the moment, however, it seems that few producers offer this cover creation feature, with the rare exception of Media Morpher. In view of the attractive prices and packages, with possibilities to go “even lower and more complete in the future”, according to industry gurus, the market is going to be poised to boom. The question is not when, but how much. This defining edge of the DVD industry could help continue the boom of the fast-growing consumer goods. So, it’s time to get away from the tech-war between the over-mentioned Sony and Toshiba, and bring it on with the evolving products of the under-noticed Media Morpher and ULead Systems.

| April 26th, 2008 | A Third Uranium Mine in Namibia? |
The excitement Paladin Resources Limited (TSE: PDN) has been quietly generating through the uranium mining sector puts African uranium mining squarely into the spotlight. The country of Namibia, bordering South Africa, Botswana, Angola and the South Atlantic Ocean, is already one of the world’s key uranium producers - supplying global utilities with between six and eight percent of the uranium oxide of the world’s newly mined supply to fuel their nuclear reactors. In an historic development, two sales contracts were recently announced for the purchase of uranium from Paladin’s Langer Heinrich uranium project before the mine has been commissioned (scheduled for opening in September 2006). Both contracts announced eight days apart in late January of this year were each for the delivery of more than 2 million pounds of U3O8 between 2007 and 2012. The company’s news release of January 27th named an unspecified U.S. utility as one of Paladin’s new customers. Namibia is a uranium-friendly mining country. In October, Mined and Energy Minister Erkki Nghimtina told the country’s National Assembly, “Namibia should consider exploiting its uranium ore reserves in the light of rising world uranium prices.” The country has already been doing so, through Rio Tinto Group’s Rossing uranium mine for the past 25 years, which provides jobs to more than 800 employees. With the addition of the Langer Heinrich, more uranium will be mined. The Rossing is one of the largest open pit uranium mines in the world and with solid reserves. According to the company’s website, this mine “currently produces about 7.7 percent of the world’s uranium.” The Rossing uranium deposit is an intrusive deposit, with intrusive rocks in this category which include alaskite, granite, pegmatite and monzonites. Around the world similar type deposits include South Africa’s Palabora and Greenland’s Ilimausaq. In South Australia, a similar intrusive deposit - Radium Hill - was mined from 1954-1962. Paladin’s success story has spurred another junior uranium company, Forsys Metals (TSX: FSY) to press forward with its advanced stage exploration uranium project in Namibia’s Erongo region. Last May, a bottom-fishing investor might have easily bought Paladin Resources shares for under C$1/share (the low was $C0.86). Recently, those shares traded as high as C$3.30/share - a 300 percent (or more) gain in less than twelve months. How does Forsys Metals stack up against the giant Rossing uranium mine and Paladin’s burgeoning Langer Heinrich? Forsys Metals shares today are in the same trading one might have found Paladin Resources less than a year ago. Forsys has initiated a pre-feasibility study on the company’s Valencia uranium deposit, which should boost investor interest if the company makes positive strides toward achieving that target. Forsys Metal’s Valencia Uranium Deposit Forsys Metal’s Valencia uranium deposit is located 35 kilometers along geological strike from the Rossing uranium mine and approximately 40 kilometers north of the Langer Heinrich deposit. “This is a granitic uranium deposit (uranium mineralization in granite), that is geologically similar to the Rossing,” said Duane Parnham, Chairman Chief Executive of Forsys Metals. “We’ve completed a National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report verifying the historical work of Goldfields Namibia between 1973 and 1986. It outlines a historical resource of greater than 20 million pounds of U3O8.” Parnham explained the mineralization is exposed on the surface and the deposit remains open for further expansion. “The Valencia is also a deposit we feel can be moved rather quickly into a production scenario,” Parnham pointed out. “The deposit is amenable to conventional open pit mining methods.” According to the National Instrument 43-101 technical report filed in October 2005 on the Valencia uranium property by Graham Michael Greenway, a registered geological scientist with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions, “Uranium mineralization is present at the Valencia Project property as uraninite (UO2) mineralization… Uranium mineralization has been identified over an area of 1,100m north-south by 500m east-west…Uranium mineralization predominantly occurs in the finer-grained alaskite… The uranium mineralization is variably distributed through the alaskite intrusions and in many cases high-grade mineralization is in contact with barren or poorly mineralized alaskite.” The Valencia project area is situated in the Central Zone of Africa’s Damara Orogenic Belt. This belt belongs to the late Precambrian, early Palezoic and Pan African Mobile Belt system that run across the African continent. Medium to high grades of metamorphism and voluminous granitic intrusions characterize the Central Zone. In a 1992 report entitled Uranium: The Mineral Resources of Namibia, published by the country’s Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Geological Survey, geologists Roesener and Schreuder wrote, “All of the uraniferous granitic occurrences discovered in Namibia are situated in the Central Zone.” The geology is similar to the Rossing uranium mine, according to Duane Parnham. Greenway suggested geological similarities as well. In his resume, Mr. Greenway disclosed he had completed a Minerals Resource estimate for the Valencia project, while in the employ of Rossing Uranium Ltd. Having graduated from South Africa’s University of Natal, Greenway has worked for 15 years as a geologist, ten of those years spent evaluating and calculating mineral resources. In his conclusion filed in the National Instrument 43-101, Greenway wrote, “The Valencia Uranium Project contains an alaskite hosted uranium deposit similar to other uranium deposits found in the Central Zone of the Damara Orogen. The main zone of mineralization is 520 meters wide, 720 meters long, and 200 meters thick and occurs from surface down to a depth of 360 meters.” Greenway estimated that at a cut-off grade of 017 kg/t U3O8, the currently defined inferred mineral resource at Valencia is 32 million tonnes at a grade of 0.22 kg/t U3O8. Evaluation Where water costs are high, uranium mining can become costly and uneconomic. Forsys Metal’s Valencia property is admittedly in a desert region. Distant water would require a pipeline. For example, the current pipeline to the Rossing uranium mine requires 2 million cubic meters of water daily pumped to it. Mr. Parnham does foresee this as a potential hazard, but believes the pipeline to the Rossing mine could be extended to the Valencia deposit, should it become a producing uranium mine. The Langer Heinrich also has a pipeline to pump the precious in order to mine the uranium. However, with that concern, there is the flip side. The Rossing mine reportedly produces uranium at less than $20/pound. Some estimates reach as low as $12/pound, but at a rising spot uranium price seemingly destined to top $40/pound, any production cost under $20/pound, in sufficient quantity, could be bankable. One uranium insider suggested the Rossing may be in the process of expanding its uranium production, because of the soaring spot uranium price, to as much as triple its current capacity. The problem with water might be solved in the context of Namibia’s energy import climate. Currently, the country reportedly imports about 80 percent of its power from South Africa. The controversial Swakopmund desalination plant, first announced in 1998, might be revived to meet the country’s growing water requirements. The country may need to drill more water wells. In any event, miners can become creatively inventive when faced with environmental concerns in order to produce their commodity. In this case, helping Namibia solve its water issues could very well help that country accelerate its industrial growth strategy. Based upon the rising monthly value in his company’s potential asset, brought about by soaring spot uranium prices, Parnham doesn’t mince words in spelling out the direction Forsys Metals is heading, “We think we have a situation whereby we can fast-track a pre-feasibility stage by conducting some limited amount of verification drilling and geo-tech drilling, and then make a formal decision to move immediately into a bankable feasibility stage.” How fast can Forsys Metals move forward? In the case of Paladin Resources, they fast-tracked their project forward in less than two years. Will history repeat itself with Forsys Metals? Stay tuned.
